Frauscher x Porsche 790 Spectre

Frauscher’s latest electric boat model, the 790 Spectre, draws inspiration from the automotive world—and not just because of its name (shared with an electric Rolls-Royce model). Above all, it is the product of ongoing collaboration between the Austrian yacht manufacturer and the German sports car maker, Porsche.
Unlike the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom—where the drivetrain and battery placement had to be adapted to an existing hull—the 790 Spectre was designed from the ground up around Porsche’s electric powertrain. Furthermore, a key part of the design brief was to create hull lines inspired by sports car aesthetics.

Like the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom, the 790 Spectre features a high-voltage lithium-ion battery with a total capacity of approximately 100 kWh and a 400 kW synchronous motor, propelling the boat to a top speed of 45 knots (94 km/h).

Details such as the dashboard design, the steering wheel, and the bucket seats for the helmsman and passenger—complete with an embroidered Porsche logo—allow anyone aboard the 790 Spectre to feel as though they are speeding behind the wheel of an automotive icon, the Porsche 911 Turbo, but on the water.

The 790 Spectre is available in the same color palette as Porsche automobiles.
